The learning process at grit:lab is based on levels, scores and an overall gamified experience. You’ll learn how to learn.
grit:lab is a tech education located on the Åland Islands. Project-based curriculum, collaborative environment and a hands-on, solution oriented approach to learning – the 24-month grit:lab program will equip you with the most in-demand skills in tech.
Leveling up? The application process starts with two online cognitive games that will require about 2 hours of your undivided attention. No prior coding experience or degrees required, we only ask that you are at least 18, open-minded, motivated to learn to code and willing to completely immerse yourself in the grit:lab mindset of always pushing for better.
At grit:lab, you’re studying for a career that’s ahead of the game. The program is designed to put you at the forefront of technology and will empower you to build a career network that’ll last you a lifetime.

After successfully completing the grit:lab program and passing the required Professional Audits, you’ll receive a Diploma in Further vocational qualification in Information and Communication Technology from Ålands yrkesgymnasium and a grit:lab Certificate of Completion.
